Range rules and discipline Jan 1, 2020
A pair of incidents occurred over the Holiday period which highlighted the need for this reminder.
CFGPA Members are required to know and comply with the rules. Current rules can be found HERE. Failure to handle firearms and bows safely or comply with the rules may result in discipline, up to and including expulsion from the Association. This includes complying with range schedules and closures, registering and paying for guests, and cleaning up after use.
Respecting closures is important as we have a covenant with the District and our neighbours. Shooting outside agreed times could put the range in jeopardy.
Thank you for your attention and compliance with these expectations.

Projectiles Must Impact Backstop
Members are reminded that the targets must be placed so that the path of the bullet through the target ends up impacting the backstop. Targets should never be placed on side berms or in a manner that causes the projectiles to ultimately impact the side berms.
